About this app
EST Plate Check is a staff tool used by Event Support Team Ltd (“EST”), company number 09025788, and its authorised clients to check pre-registered vehicles into event car parks at the gate. It is not a consumer app and is provided to authorised staff and clients only.
Camera
The camera is used to read vehicle number plates at the gate. Plate images are processed on the device to recognise the registration; the photos themselves are not uploaded or stored on our servers.
Location
With your permission, the approximate location of each vehicle check is recorded alongside the check in the audit log, so EST can confirm where and when a check took place. Location is used only for this audit purpose.
Sign-in & staff data
Staff sign in with a name and a personal PIN (stored only as a secure one-way hash). The app records who performed each check for accountability.
What is stored and shared
Vehicle registrations, check results, the operator name, time and audit location are stored in EST's secure, access-controlled database to administer event parking. We do not sell your data, show advertising, or use third-party tracking. Data is shared only with EST staff, the relevant event organiser, and service providers who host the database under contract, or where required by law.
